Committed to Diversity and Inclusion

Term Education is fully committed to diversity, inclusion, and ensuring fair and equal treatment for all employees and candidates.

According to McKinsey, organizations with strong gender diversity are 15% more likely to outperform competitors, while those with strong ethnic diversity are 35% more likely.

Extensive research shows that organisations embracing diversity and inclusion benefit from:

  • Stronger success in attracting and retaining top talent

  • Employees with higher job satisfaction, commitment, and engagement

  • Increased creativity, innovation, and better decision-making

  • Enhanced company reputation

  • Improved financial performance

In fact, research highlights that working only with people similar to ourselves can limit potential. At Term Education, we believe diversity and inclusion is not just common sense—it’s business sense for us and our clients.

As a key stakeholder in the talent acquisition supply chain, Term Education is committed to ensuring our clients and candidates experience the highest standards of best practice in diversity and inclusion.

What Diversity in Recruitment Means

Diversity in recruitment means shortlisting and introducing candidates because of their skills and competencies, not unrelated criteria. We carefully examine job requirements for indirect bias—for example, demanding specific degrees, exclusive work hours, or culture descriptions that unintentionally exclude talent.

Recruitment and decision-making must remain free from bias relating to race, belief, gender, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, physical or neuro individuality, or any other personal characteristic unrelated to the role.

Without a diverse candidate pool, organisations cannot build the diverse leaders of the future. And without an inclusive culture, retaining diverse talent becomes impossible.

Defining Diversity

Diversity is about recognising the variations that make people unique—cognitive skills, personality traits, race, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and cultural background. Inclusion means ensuring all these differences are welcomed, valued, and celebrated.

Our Commitment

Term Education is an equal opportunities employer. We guarantee that all colleagues have fair access to opportunities for employment and progression, based on transparent criteria such as skills, competencies, performance, and relevance.

We also will not work with any organisation unwilling to commit to our Diversity and Inclusion Charter. We encourage all our partners to join this initiative and become an employer that is Positive for Diversity and Inclusion (PDI).
